Voiceguide 5.1.3 Longer Pauses Between Modules

Hi

 

I recently upgraded from VoiceGuide 4.9 to 5.1.3.

 

My script consists of a lot of modules, each of which plays a WAVE file.

 

I called the system running 4.9 and it flowed very well, with appropriately sized gaps between the playing of each WAVE file (perhaps half a second).

 

After installing 5.1.3 it now pauses for perhaps one second between playing each WAVE file. I haven't made any changes to the script to cause this to happen. It now takes a call 1 minute and 55 seconds to complete where it previously took about 1 minute 20 seconds.

 

Hoping you guys might know why this has happened.

I take it that you are using a Dialogic card...

 

There is a problem with the Dialogic cards and v5.0/v5.1 which results in 1 sec delays at end of playing a file. We are working on a fix, in the meantime plz see solution posted towards end of :
