Guest u4910 Report post Posted 05/22/2012 03:06 PM I'm interested to know if anyone is using Vonage as a cheaper alternative to traditional phone lines (analog)? I want to use 8 lines and it may be cheaper to go with Vonage. My bandwidth is 5M up and 30M down on Road Runner. It can drop to as low as 3M up and 10M down. Does it work reliably and quality OK? How about network needs/utilization? Share this post Link to post
SupportTeam Report post Posted 05/24/2012 06:19 AM It really all depends on your network carrier and type of connectivity at your premises. Its best to speak with them. It's not just the bandwidth but more the reliability of transmission (low packet drop) and little packet delay when system is under load. You may want to speak to Telcos servicing your are as well.
