SupportTeam Report post Posted 11/24/2003 04:52 AM Which anti-virus software generates this alert? Releases are scanned with two different types of anti-virus software with up-to-date definition files and nothing has been picked up... ... and if there was an infection one then anyone running anti-virus software would have gotten an alert and we would have heard about this a long time ago now... so at this stage I suspect that the anti-virus software that you are using is giving you a false alert... BACKDOOR.Trojan is a fairly generic term... what was the name of the supposed trojan? Share this post Link to post
Guest Tim Report post Posted 11/25/2003 09:10 AM Don't forget, an exe can be changed and renamed by a virus, and so the file being flagged as trouble might not be the original that was installed. Maybe support can post here the exact file size and date and time of the correct exe for you to compare with yours. Tim Share this post Link to post
