Tts Files Referenced In Vbs Modules Not Working

Just upgraded from 7.2 to 7.3 and now text prompts no longer play in my vbs modules.

 

For "play while called vb script is running" I have entered: "C:\Program Files\VoiceGuide\Scripts\Myscript\TextPrompts\prompt1.txt"

 

It used to read the text via TTS engine, but now all i get is a short beep.

Please .ZIP and post VoiceGuide's vgEngine and ktTel traces that capture system startup and the call during this the issue occurred.

 

We can then see what is happening on the system.

In the VBS module called "ScriptOnLoad" the following path is provided for sound file: "TextPrompts\US\Welcome.txt"

Instead of hearing TTS engine read the included text, I hear only a beep.

This problem started as soon as we upgraded to the latest version of voiceguide.

Please update system to this version of VoiceGuide:

To update please stop VG service and install new version over the top of old one.

This version fixed the issue you encountered with TTS generation from .txt files in VBS modules.

Please post traces as before if you still encounter issues with this new version.
