Guest donamenband Report post Posted 06/27/2012 12:26 PM Hello, Please forgive me if you already have a thread on this, but... What can be done to improve sound quality of TTS and/or WAV playback the phone lines. Right now it sounds "fuzzy", if you will. (Recent logs attached in case it helps.) Thanks. logs.zip Share this post Link to post
SupportTeam Report post Posted 06/27/2012 12:37 PM For other threads we see that you are using media converters on your system ( http://www.voiceguide.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=8736 ) Media converters always add 'hiss'. If you are using VoIP or Digital T1/E1 lines the data sent to caller will be a byte-by-byte copy of the sound file that is played. Exact. Digital. Copy. And then the sound quality heard by caller just depends on quality of your sound file recording itself. (NB. sound files needs to be in ULaw/ALaw format. VoIP connection used needs to be reliable etc.) Share this post Link to post
