Guest donamenband Report post Posted 07/18/2012 06:37 AM Dear voiceguide support, Every so often a call get's "stuck" as "hanging up", but the call continues endlessly. After that, all incoming calls on all lines are ignored by voiceguide, until the voiceguide service is restarted. As you can see, when this screenshot was taken, the given call had been going for 18614 seconds and it was still counting. Please see the attached screenshot and traces. Thank you. 0717_2249_vgEngine.zip Share this post Link to post
SupportTeam Report post Posted 07/19/2012 05:24 PM Can you post any more traces of similar occurrences? What else is installed on this system apart from Windows+Dialogic+VoiceGuide ? Are you using any .NET development tools on this system? Share this post Link to post
Guest donamenband Report post Posted 07/20/2012 11:11 AM Can you post any more traces of similar occurrences? will do. Meanwhile, this is the only one I have so far. What else is installed on this system apart from Windows+Dialogic+VoiceGuide? Not much. See attached screenshots. Are you using any .NET development tools on this system? As you can see, we do have .NET tools on this system but they are rarely used, and they were certainly not running any of the times that this bug occurred. Share this post Link to post
SupportTeam Report post Posted 07/20/2012 12:22 PM We would need to see more traces capturing this issue to confirm where exactly the problem originated. Which TTS engines do you have installed on this system? Also, in module CentralLookup please change: $RV[Country] to: "$RV[Country]" Share this post Link to post
SupportTeam Report post Posted 07/23/2012 07:37 AM On closer inspection of traces it looks like the one of the processing threads hung during creation of an object used during an "Evaluate Expression" module. Guess errors like this would be happening if the system is running very low on resources(?). We will add more tracing and better handling of this situation in future releases of VoiceGuide v7. How much RAM is available on this system? Are you seeing that there is no RAM available on this system when the TTS engines are used? TTS engines tend to use a lot of RAM. And sounds like you are using two or more TTS engines on this system simultaneously. Share this post Link to post
