SupportTeam Report post Posted 08/23/2012 08:27 AM Can you capture the ISDN trace using Dialogic's ISDIAG.EXE application? We should then be able to see the exact contents of the the packet being sent out. After starting the ISDN trace make one inbound call and one outbound call (that has the CallerId set on it) and post the trace here. The ISDIAG generated trace can be converted to readable format using the ISDTRACE.EXE utility. Share this post Link to post

SupportTeam Report post Posted 08/23/2012 11:46 AM The outgoing call does not seem to be captured in this trace, only incoming calls. Share this post Link to post
SupportTeam Report post Posted 08/23/2012 10:49 PM If you have multiple T1/E1 trunks in your system you need to ensure that the outgoing call is made on the same trunk on which the trace is being ran. Share this post Link to post

SupportTeam Report post Posted 08/24/2012 06:52 AM The outgoing calls SETUP mesage looks fine, and the CallerID is correctly specified in the SETUP message. You should ask the company that had provided the PRI trunk as to why they are not passing it on. Some Telcos do not let you set own CallerID on outgoing calls and will overwrite it with CallerID assigned the the ISDN trunk, or make it blank etc. The outgoing SETUP message is similar in format to the incoming calls SETUP message, so there should be no problem with the Telco's switch understanding it. SupportTeam Report post Posted 08/24/2012 06:57 AM The trace last provided only had calls sent over ISDN trunk in one direction. Its best to get a single trace that shows calls going in both directions - incoming and outgoing and then advise which of the calls captured was the outgoing call on which the CallerID was set (advise the number dialed and the CallerID number set on the call to let us identify the outgoing call). invoso.com Report post Posted 09/08/2012 10:46 AM I tried to transfer call in the same trunc searching free channel order from 30 to 25 and after 50 to 31, but VG trying to connnect starting 50th channel. It make umpossible to trace call into one ISDN trunc. Is any newest VG version? BTW. Can You send a messages to licenced users when new VG version is available (of course with "whats new" or fix description)? 0908_1216_vgEngine.zip Share this post Link to post

SupportTeam Report post Posted 09/09/2012 08:25 AM On the incoming call the 'Type of Number' and 'Numbering plan ID' field are set to: -010---- Type of Number ----0001 Numbering plan ID and on the outgoing call the 'Type of Number' and 'Numbering plan ID' field are set to: -000---- Type of Number ----0000 Numbering plan ID The Telco did dial the 516222696 number, so looks like the numbering plan settings are acceptable to Telco. You should confirm with E1 ISDN trunk provider whether they do not accept the CallerID set on outgoing call due to the Numbering Plan used, or whether they do not allow the setting of CallerID on outgoing calls at all. If the numbering plan needs to be changed then instructions on how to do this are provided here: http://www.voiceguide.com/vghelp/source/html/configisdnsetup.htm But most likely the switch used by the E1 ISDN trunk provider is just not accepting the custom CallerIDs set on the outbound calls. SupportTeam Report post Posted 09/11/2012 01:59 PM You're sure, trunc provider changed isdn settings and now identification working. OK, so sounds like the Telco has made some changes and now they are reading in and using the supplied CallerID. What with ordering channel usage over 30 channel? Are you asking how to modify the free channel search order? There is a number of settings in VG.INI that will let you specify whether VGDialer searches from high->low or from low->high ports when making outgoing call. And the first free port found that (that is listed in your port selection set as well) gets selected. Share this post Link to post
SupportTeam Report post Posted 09/11/2012 02:03 PM The settings are: in [VGDialer] section : ;Order in Which the Dialer looks for free ports on which to make outbound calls on. ;1=lowest to highest ;2=highest to lowest FreePortSearchOrder=1 FreePortSearchOrder_OutboundCampaigns=1 FreePortSearchOrder_2ndLegOfTransferCall=1 It sounds like you have some of these settings set to "2" and you want them to be set to "1".
