Guest Dorothee Report post Posted 11/27/2003 04:27 PM Can someone clarify this point for me please: Do I definately need either a PBX or an equivalent service from my telephone company to be able to transfer call from one line to the other using a dialogic card? Basically if nobody answers line1 I would like line 2 to route the call to a mobile phone without the caller's intervention or knowledge. Thank you. Share this post Link to post
SupportTeam Report post Posted 11/27/2003 11:12 PM To perform a call transfer on a line, the system which provides that line (PBX or phone company's switch) must support 'hookflash call transfers'. Many phone companies these days have an option to enable the lines which they provide to support call transfers - you have to speak with the phone company regarding this. All PBXs support hookflash line transfers. If your telephone company does not support hookflash line transfers on it's lines you can still perform a call transfer with VoiceGuide - just use the "Dial and Conference" option to make a call on another line and conference the two lines together.
