Guest RobG Report post Posted 02/27/2003 05:31 PM This may be simple (as I am new at this), but it is not obvious to me. Is there a way to test scripts using only: A telephone plugged into the voice modem (that normally answers the call)? or Only one telephone line where one can key in a sequence to cause the voice modem to answer as if the line had rung? Just seems odd that I need two telephone lines to test the software scripts. I have 3 lines to run my business and tying up 2 lines while I test various aspects of my new script seems excessive. Thanks for any ideas you have. Share this post Link to post

Guest Guest Report post Posted 03/01/2003 10:42 PM If you don't have Call Forward on Busy then you can test it your self. MOST (now I say MOST) telephone services will allow you to dial your own telephone number, listen to the recorded message that you have dial a number on your own line. hang up phone. Next the phone will being ringing on your end, wait for voice guide to answer after the number of set rings, Pick up your phone, you can now test your script. Share this post Link to post
