eZigma Report post Posted 12/07/2003 06:21 PM VG Line status dialog shows that all 4 ports on our D4pci cards picks up one incoming call via our Panasonic KX TA-624 PBX. Once the lines are picked up. the OGM begins to play and then the remaining 3 lines start to disconnect. This was not the case in version 4.9 before we upgraded to 5.14. Also when dialing the desired extension. We have the script setup to do a blind transfer (log line 121122.80) and upon dialing 103 for example, Extension 103 does not ring and VG disconnects. Line 121126.35 of the event trace indicates that the call has been placed on hold and the transfer is in process, but this is not true as it just disconnects. Also the same script in version 4.9 had not provblems. I have tried extension to extension transfers and they works, so the PBX does not seem to be the problem. VG to Extension transfers do not work. What gives. SupportTeam Report post Posted 12/07/2003 10:47 PM You haven't by any chance plugged the same line into all 4 ports on the PCI card? ie. connected all 4 ports 'in parallel' to the same phone line... Every time in the past somebody reported this problem it turned out they have done just that... Each port on the Dialogic card needs to be attached to a different phone line... These ports have been configured to answer all incoming calls as voice mail ports. nothing has really changed but the version of voiceguide. in version 4.9 everything worked fine. In version 5.0 it was good. Recently went to version 5.1.4 and have started having issues... Share this post Link to post
SupportTeam Report post Posted 12/07/2003 11:28 PM The trace shows that all 4 lines are RINGing: 121102.92 7 ring 0 ... 121102.96 5 ring 0 ... 121104.22 6 ring 0 ... 121104.29 8 ring 0 I'd suggest connecting normal phone handsets to the 4 lines and you'll then see all 4 lines ringing... and VG answers any lines that RING, that's why you get all 4 lines answering at the same time... It looks like the config of the switch is a bit different to what is expected - I'd suggest fixing that issue first and then looking into the call transfer issue - testing it using the same lies as are plugged into VG...
