Using Vg With Voip

Can someone tell me if I can use VG with a VoiP service? Something like Packet8 which is an internet-based phone service that allows voice calls routed over the internet? Evidently everything is exactly the same using Packet8 (ie. you get a dial tone and all of the other typical phone signals) but it is just routed over the internet instead of over the phone company's network.

I understand Packet8 provides you with a device to which you can attach a phone - or a Dialogic card - it should be OK to use VoiceGuide with such devices.
