Pausing Recording

Is possible to hang up recording?

 

I thing in case when I need to record call during call, play rules prompt and after continue to record call.

 

At first recording call, when is necessary to play typical prompt, pause (stop) recording by DTMF tone (caller or Agent), playing prompt and after comeback to Agent continuing recording call?

Looks like this questions refers to 2-line recording of bridged calls, and the playing of whisper messages to the parties in the bridged call.

 

It is possible to stop 2-line recording. The Record_Stop API call needs to be made to stop the 2-channel recording. see: http://www.voiceguide.com/vghelp/source/html/com_record_stop.htm

 

DTMF tone detection still works while the 2-line call recording is performed, so you can use DTMF triggers in the script to jump to different modules.

But is possible to continuing recording (append second recorded part of call to first) after stopping to play whisper messages ?
