Guest ForceHQ Report post Posted 12/11/2003 10:03 PM How can we send a command to our modem so that it will extend its hookflash time. We have a Creative Modem Blaster V.92 Serial external modem that seems to flash too quick for our telephone company phone line to register a hookflash. Is there a way to do this? SupportTeam Report post Posted 12/11/2003 11:23 PM Inability to set the hookflash length is the main reason why voice modems are most often not suitable for use in applications where call transfers etc are required. You will need to get a Dialogic card - you can set hookflash length on Dialogic cards. Share this post Link to post
Guest sin(pi) Report post Posted 06/16/2005 10:19 AM I know this is an OLD issue - but some voice modems can easily have their hookflash time set via the ATS29= command. The problem is, most have problems flashing and dialing and flashing again and whatnot while a connection is already active - rendering hookflashes useless. Share this post Link to post
