How To Test The Developed Script

Hi,

 

I am very new to voiceguide, so please bear with me.

I have developed a new script(very small) and wanted to test it, please let me know how can i test it without connecting external device(like phone).

Usual testing approach is to set up VoiceGuide v7 in VoIP mode, and dial into system from another computer using a softphone.

 

eg: with SJPhone you can just dial the IP address of the machine on which VoiceGuide is installed.

When the IP address of the machine on which VoiceGuide is installed is called form a SIP VoIP phone/softphone then VoiceGuide will answer that call and run the script specified in Config.xml

No other configuration is necessary. Just make a call to the IP address of the machine on which VoiceGuide is installed.
