iTime Report post Posted 12/06/2012 09:33 PM Hi, We need to build the following system for one of our IVR customers, and I would like to make sure that it is a supported configuration by Voiceguide7. Windows2008 + VG7 + Dialogic HMP driver for VoIP over AVAYA (Notell) CS1000 using SIP protocol. I believe there should be no problem, but wanted to double check with the experts. Thank you! SupportTeam Report post Posted 12/06/2012 09:36 PM Sounds fine. How many SIP channels would you like to run on this server? Share this post Link to post
iTime Report post Posted 12/07/2012 06:34 PM Thanks for confirmation. How many SIP channels would you like to run on this server? We are not sure as the AVAYA will be running on our customer's end. Is there any limit on the number of channels? Share this post Link to post
SupportTeam Report post Posted 12/07/2012 09:37 PM We were referring to the number of simultaneous calls the IVR will be expected to handle. If it is more the about 300 simultaneous calls (exact number depends on type of application being ran)then we may want look at the detailed server specifications (CPU, chipset, memory, etc) to make sure it can handle the load. A VoiceGuide license and a HMP license would need to be purchased for every channel, so the number of channels (maximum simultaneous calls handled by system) would need to be established when deploying the system.
