Guest miva Report post Posted 01/20/2013 04:03 AM Hello support, If all lines are in use on a server and Voiceguide tries to do a "Dial out and Conference" is there a system message which plays to the caller? If so can you please tell us where to find this system message. Additionally, if we have two dialogic cards in the one server and all lines are taken on the first card, can Voiceguide use the second dialogic card to make the Dial and Conference call out or do the two legs need to be on the same card? SupportTeam Report post Posted 01/20/2013 04:16 AM If no channels for outgoing leg of call can be found then the script will go down a fail path. You can choose what module that fail path will point to. It can certainly point to a Play module which can play a message to the original caller. if we have two dialogic cards in the one server and all lines are taken on the first card, can Voiceguide use the second dialogic card to make the Dial and Conference call out Yes. or do the two legs need to be on the same card? No. Each of the two legs of the "Dial and Conference"/"Tromboned" call can be on a different card. Furthermore, the set of lines/channels which can be used for the outgoing leg of call can be specified as well. So specific channels can be used for outgoing call, rather then allowing VoiceGuide to just choose any of the available channels. Please see http://www.voiceguide.com/vghelp/source/html/modxfer.htm for more information. Share this post Link to post
