SupportTeam Report post Posted 12/19/2003 03:04 AM Looks like the Wave driver for the modem/card are not correctly installed - Please ltry re-installing your telephony device. If after re-installing the drivers you still encounter problems can you try removing all the wave drives on your system (including any sound card drivers) and then re-installing the wave drivers for your telephony device first. To remove other wave drivers got to Control Panel, double clock on System, select the Device Manager tab and go to Sound/Video/Game Controllers entry - then delete all other wave drivers. (You may have to disable the sound card altogether as well to stop Windows from automatically loading it's drivers - to do this just select "Disable" and then select "Uninstall" from the Device Manager.) Guest Guest_MarceloVigil Report post Posted 12/19/2003 04:08 PM But it was working perfectly! I just uninstalled your software and installed the new release again! Share this post Link to post
SupportTeam Report post Posted 12/20/2003 01:55 AM Installing / Uninstalling of VG should not affect the Wave drivers setup/config - VG's installer does not touch them... The trace shows that right now on your system the error is returned by the wave driver: waveOutOpen return error: MMSYSERR_NODRIVER Share this post Link to post
MarceloVigil Report post Posted 01/03/2004 11:16 PM Sorry to bother you, but I'm still with the "MMSYSERR_NODRIVER" error. I've DISABLED/UNINSTALLED... I made everything you told me, the modem works perfectly and the "Unimodem Half-Duplex Audio Device" said that is "working properly". I don't know what else do to make your software work with a modem. The modem is an internal US Robotics 3090 Share this post Link to post
SupportTeam Report post Posted 01/04/2004 02:10 AM The error you see on your system is returned by Windows when it tries to find the wave driver for your modem - and re-installing the wave driver would usually resolve such issues... There really isn't much else we can suggest - the wave drivers do not appear to work correctly and this needs to be resolved before VG can use the modem... Share this post Link to post
