SupportTeam Report post Posted 12/20/2003 02:43 AM Could you please post a copy of VoiceGuide's Debug Printout which captures the problem, this will allow us to see what is going wrong. (When running the script click on VoiceGuide's View menu and select 'Event Trace Log' option - any log information will then appear in this window. You must open the trace window before making the call.) I am trying to get at call transfered from an incomming ISDN line, to one of the analog extensions on the modem. Can you plz describe your system configuration in more detail... chany Report post Posted 07/17/2007 08:43 PM Im having exactly the same problem. Im trying Voiceguide with my Fritz!X usb 3.0 and even though it picks up the call and plays a welcome message, when it's supposed to do a blind transfer call to any analog extension, it doesn't work. The call hangs up automatically after some seconds. In the PBX properties in the script editor wverything seems to be configured properly, since the "!" it's said to be be the hookflash and with the FRITZ!X you transfer a call by pressing the hookflash and the extension number. Could you please help me? If this works, I will definitely buy Voiceguide, but I need it to work urgently. Thank you. SupportTeam Report post Posted 07/17/2007 11:53 PM Hookflash transfers are only used on analog lines. Are you using one of the analog extensions on the Fritz!X switch? What telephony device are you using to attach to the Fritz!X switch? Is it a Dialogic card? If the call is hung up without the caller hearing any DTMF tones being played then most likely that hookflash length on the telephony device is too long. Instructions on how to change the hookflash length are in this section of the Help file: http://www.voiceguide.com/vghelp/source/ht...lltransfers.htm Share this post Link to post

chany Report post Posted 07/18/2007 04:47 PM FRITZ!X is a PBX with the fritz!CARD into it. It's an isdn card and every extension is analog. Thus, im not using a Dialogic Card, it's an isdn board with a pbx included. It's not a regular analog modem, it includes many features very similar to dialogic board, however I don't know where to change the hookflash length for it. I would very much appreciate your response as soon as possible. Regards, Hernán Chapnik. Share this post Link to post
ktruk Report post Posted 07/18/2007 07:09 PM Hernan: When VG for TAPI finds a "!" char, it simulates a flash-hook break using the TAPI 'Generate' function by default. For ISDN, you can reconfigure the tone-generation process to use true TAPI functions. When this is done, TAPI will do a proper 'blindTransfer' by controlling the ISDN connection directly using tapi function calls. To do this, you need to change some settings in the VG.INI file to 'TAPI' (which are set to 'GENERATE' by default). Sorry, I don't hae the exact details right now, but search the forum as I have posted this before. Also, your ISDN/Fritz/TSP(TAPI) driver needs to support line transfers to this to work. Only ISDN Blind-Transfers work, no other form of transfer works. (A Blind Transfer is essentially a digital equivalent of the analog flash-hook). Share this post Link to post

Ill look for the vg.ini file and search for "GENERATE" and replace it with TAPI. Reagarding to the drivers, I updated from the AVM site the last TAPI, CAPI drivers for my Fritz!X. Do you know if this will word? Thank you in advanced again. Hernán Share this post Link to post
ktruk Report post Posted 07/19/2007 09:13 AM Hernan: Sorry, I do not know if Fritz drivers will definately work. You will have to try it. However, if it does not not work, since card is CAPI, you can also try ComISDN driver (see: www.comisdn.com) which may work. ComISDN is a CAPI<>TAPI driver. Often CAPI support is better than TAPI using cards own drivers. ComISDN is not free, but you can try 30 days. I have eicon BRI (S0) (and PRI) cards and comisdn doing blindLineTransfer no problem on Euro-ISDN lines and voiceguide for tapi. I also tried Fritz card with comisdn and it worked some 2 years ago, but did not try blindLineTransfer at that time. Good luck. Share this post Link to post
