Guest Jimmy Davis Report post Posted 12/20/2003 08:51 PM Hi, I'm attempting to dial out phone numbers to club members to let them know that meetings are scheduled. I got it working with the dialer and that's all cool. I'm pretty happy with that, but I have one questions. What are the licensing requirements for the software needed for this. From what I understand, it should be a Professional 1 Line, since we've only got one line and second, a Dialer 1 Line for the outbound service. That totals $99+$129 = $228 or so, right? Thanks, Jimmy Share this post Link to post
SupportTeam Report post Posted 12/21/2003 01:13 AM If you want VG to control 2 lines then you will need to purchase a 2 line license. And if you need to user Dialer extensions then the license type will need to be a Pro+Dialer (or Ent+Dialer). I'm not to sure is you want VG top control just one line or two lines.. If you wnat to control two lines then you will need two single line Pro+Dialer licenses. Share this post Link to post
Guest Jimmy Davis Report post Posted 12/22/2003 04:55 PM No, I only need it to dial out on one line, not two. All I need is for the phone to dial number after number and then say the following: "There is a meeting on [DATE HERE] at [TIME HERE] of the [CLUB HERE], we hope you can join us and yada yada and so on...." That's the basic idea. I'm doing this for three clubs I volunteer for. But the membership calls are taking up a lot of time and I'd rather have an automated unit do it from a computer and my home phone line. I've gotten the evaluation version to pull off the test calls and it worked fine. I'm just not sure what license I need for this to work. I have one phone line I want to use to dial out. So that should be Pro+Dialer 1 line which is the same cost above, I think. Share this post Link to post
SupportTeam Report post Posted 12/22/2003 10:08 PM If you just want to use one line then a single line Pro+Dialer license is what you need. Share this post Link to post
