Guest oluwafemi Ogundimu Report post Posted 03/03/2003 01:13 PM Hi, I just got the VoiceGuide version 4.7.12 and I am testing the software on my: PBX (Panasonic Advanced Hybrid System KX-TA616). The VoiceGuide has detected my on board voice modem : (HSP56 MR) but does not seem to run my script once the call is picked up. The call is usually recorded in the log viewer and the VoiceGuide shows that the welcome file is being played but nothing is heard at the other end of the line. I need your help on what could be wrong. Is it my modem the VoiceGuide installation or the PBX? Thanks. Share this post Link to post
SupportTeam Report post Posted 03/04/2003 02:07 AM Wave drivers sometimes get a bit confused as to which device should be used for playback when there is more then one output device available... The way to resolve this is to uninstall or disable all the other wave drivers and install the modem drivers first... and then install the sound card's wave drivers. If your sound card auto installs using PnP then I'd try disabling the sound controller using the Control Panel -> Sound and Multimedia Properties applet. Select Hardware tab, highlight your sound card, click properties and select 'disable' at the bottom of the window.
