Printing A Script

Trying to print our script, which is large.

Getting Run-time error '482': Printer error.

 

Printing other things from windows works fine.

 

There was a thread from 2011 about trouble printing, and that thread mentions a new version of the script designer that was supposed to address that issue.

Did that new script designer ever happen?

The current version of the script designer does not fully print out the script.

 

It creates a one page .XPS document based on what is shown in the window at the time.

 

This is not sufficient for most scripts and especially for larger scripts - which would require to be printed out on multiple pages to be readable.

 

The best approach is to take multiple screenshots and paste these into a graphics program. once multiple pastes are stitched together the graphics program will usually provide options on printing out the larger canvas across multiple paper pages.

That's what I wound up doing - fyi repeated attempts to print from within the script designer crashed the VG service.
