invoso.com Report post Posted 04/15/2013 07:24 AM Hi, I have 3 E1 trunks. 1st with 3rd in different server then 2nd. My idea was: when 1st E1 is busy (occupied, out of service) then calls are going to second, but problem is when something going wrong in 1st (for example some channels not answering and I can't restart). To restart VG I change channel status to maintenance or out of service but this not help to forwarding calls to second trunk. Is other way to restart simple channel or send signalling with status witch help forwarding on demand calls to second trunk? Share this post Link to post
SupportTeam Report post Posted 04/15/2013 09:27 AM The supplier of E1 trunks decides on which trunks/channels the calls will be sent. It depends on how they have configured the trunks. You should speak to the administrator of the PBX/Switch from which the E1 trunks are coming form to see how they have configured the trunks. We recommend that calls arrive in a 'Round Robin'/'Circular' fashion across all available channels. You may want to confirm whether the trunks have been set up to present calls in that order across the channels. Share this post Link to post
