option61c Report post Posted 04/11/2006 07:39 PM I'm evaluating VG to see if we want to use it as a replacement for our NT based IVR (EASE for anyone who's familiar). I don't have a voice modem handy so I'm trying to put a D/4PCI card in my XP box. I've loaded 5.1.1 and SP1. DCM loads the card just fine and I can run the sample apps that come with the Dialogic software. HOWEVER... Windows device manager doesn't seem to be able to see the D/4PCI as anything other than an "Unknown Bridge Device". As such, I can't tell VG to use the board becuase it looks like it only sees installed windows devices. Is the this the case? Can anyone think of what I'm missing? Thanks. No. Download the VG for Dialogic patch and follow instructions in the readme.txt file there. Windows device manager doesn't seem to be able to see the D/4PCI as anything other than an "Unknown Bridge Device". It does not matter what the Windows Device Manager sees the card as. As long as the Dialogic Configuration Manager can see the card then all is OK.
