We're using VoiceGuide + HMP

 

Are hookflash transfers supported for Dialogic HMP?

 

Is there any way to transfer a SIP call without tying up 2 ports?

In SIP VoIP the equivalent of a hookflash transfer is the SIP REFER message.

 

Do you know if the other SIP equipment that is making SIP connections to/from VoiceGuide and in particular both the parties connected/tromboned together though VoiceGuide support the SIP REFER messaging as per RFC 3515?

 

If they do support RFC3515 then this transfer should be possible.

SIP REFER transfers ( RFC3515 ) are now included in the publicly available version of VoiceGuide v7.1 onwards.
